HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS
“Struggling To Lose Pounds”
Today many of us are over weight and on a vicious cycle. We have over time put on extra pounds, for some woman it may have started after having children. For the majority of men I would say eating the wrong things and lack of exercise. Also as we get older, it seems to stick to us and is that much harder to get rid of our love handles and double or triple tires rolls. Take me for instance, I have found that because of this excess weight I’ve tried some of everything to shave these pounds off. There are many of us that have tried various diets, take one for instance “The Cabbage Diet”. Yes, I’ve tried that and yes I lost a dress size or two, but did I keep it off the answer is no. However, my problem and probably the greater majority of us don’t follow the diet to the letter. Once we start loosing a significant amount of weight we’ll tend to deviate from eating exactly what the plan calls for. Unfortunately, in most cases we will regain what we have worked hard to lose and gain a few extra. Now you say, stick with it, well that’s easier said than done. Okay you say, it takes will power well I have that; but yet it doesn’t seem to be enough. Moving forward, we now decide to go to the doctor, he says loose weight, eat healthy and exercise. For some of us that is a big pill to swallow. Many of us, find exercising to be hard or we say we can’t do it by ourselves. Okay, you say we have the gyms, yes and that cost money.
Yet another issue that keeps us from progressing and on the other side we’ll say you have to have time to go. Yes, I’ll say just another excuse for not doing what we need to do for ourselves and our health. Remember these pounds didn’t come over night and speaking for myself, weight loss is a challenge all by itself. Well let’s stop talking and get down to business, take action or get to the source of the matter.
First, we are going to get focused. Now we know loosing weight will help us feel better, it can also help in eleviating stress. So we are going to balance our diet and we’re going to do this step by step, one day at a time. First, we need to eat three meals a day; breakfast; lunch and dinner or supper you may call it. Also, healthy snacks in between. There must be balance; lean meat, fish and poultry also a vegetable and starch. Most of all in our eating we must be mindful of our portions, this is very important. We need to have a planned schedule of our mealtimes. After a good nights sleep, we wake up and have a good breakfast. Have a bowl of cereal with lowfat or fatfree milk, a piece of fruit and a slice of plain/whole wheat toast. (8 -9 a.m.) At lunch time we want to have a full course meal, between (12- 2 p.m.) Let’s have a piece of steamed fish preferably, steamed vegetables and maybe some pasta. Finally it’s dinner time, we want to eat no later than (7 p.m.) This is our final meal for the evening and it should be lighter; fresh salad, fruit or vegetable, one piece of baked chicken and a small portion of rice. Also we want to drink plenty of water, preferably before meals. Our snacks should be fresh fruits, vegetables like, raw carrots, celery, lettuce, etc. or a yogurt if you wish. Remember drink plenty of water, you can also have warm beverages like tea or apple cider. It’s best to drink our beverages hot or room temperature, this is good for our digestive system. Stay away from excess sugary items. If we can follow all of the above strictly, we will all shave off some pounds. Now remember, everyone is not going to achieve the same results. Always remember no matter what, stay focused.
Here is something that I must share with all of you, it is a healthy way and an achievable program that can help us achieve our weight loss goals. Watch and listen to our video, after you have finished get back to me. To our achievements and to our healthy success.
